AI tarot reading, kept in your own notebook

Ask a question, draw three cards from the full deck, and read what each one says about it, with its meaning from the card library beside every note. Keep the page if you like: your notebook notices which cards keep coming back.

Ask, draw three cards, and read each one’s meaning for your question. Your notebook notices what keeps coming back.

Write it the way you would in a diary. Three cards from the full deck, free, no sign-up.

Keep this page

After a reading, write a line if you like, and keep the page. It goes in your notebook, in this browser: free, private, no account. Your words are in ink; Lanterndeck’s notes stay in pencil.

Weeks later, when a card or a dream symbol comes back, the margin quotes what you wrote the last time, with the date. That is the part a single reading can’t give you.

How a reading works

  1. Ask. One question, in your own words. It’s read first: questions about health, money, legal matters or pregnancy are pointed to someone who can help, and if you sound in distress, the cards pause.
  2. Draw. The full 78-card deck is shuffled where you can see it. Choose your cards face down, or let the deck choose, then turn them over.
  3. Read, card by card. Each card gets its own note for your question, written while you turn the cards, with the library line it comes from right beside it. Then a few lines on how the cards read together, and one follow-up question.
  1. PastFive of Cups
  2. PresentThe Star, reversed
  3. Where it could goTwo of Cups

What is an AI tarot reading?

You write a question and draw cards. Each card lands in a position, such as past, present or future, upright or reversed. An AI tarot reading then writes a short note for that exact draw: one per card, grounded in a fixed library of card meanings, and a few lines on how the cards read together.

It is a way to think a question through, not an answer from the future. Kept in your notebook, your readings start to show which cards and themes keep returning, which is often more interesting than any single draw.

Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection. They don’t predict the future or replace advice from a professional.

What Lanterndeck leaves out

  • Predictions. No card can tell you what will happen, and Lanterndeck won’t pretend to.
  • Advice on health, money, legal matters or pregnancy. You’re pointed to someone who can help instead.
  • Ads, streaks, countdowns and “you missed a day” nudges.
  • Plans that renew. Everything here is paid once, or free.
  • Selling your notebook, or training AI on it.

Questions

Is this a psychic?

No. Lanterndeck is AI writing from a fixed library of card meanings, for the cards you drew. It’s for entertainment and self-reflection. It doesn’t predict the future or replace advice from a professional.

Can I see where each part of my reading comes from?

Yes. Every card’s note sits beside the library line it was written from, quoted word for word. The card names, positions and orientations come from your draw, never from the AI.

Where is my notebook kept?

In this browser, on this device. Export or delete it any time, free. When you ask for a reading, your words are sent to Lanterndeck’s server and to our AI provider to write it. They aren’t stored on our server or used to train AI.

What does it cost?

Three readings a day are free, with no sign-up. A deep reading on your own question (ten cards, a longer reading, three follow-ups) is $4.99 once, and you don’t pay for a reading that isn’t written. A notebook for the year is $39, paid once. Nothing renews, and nothing in your notebook is deleted.
