Refunds, plainly

Two things can be bought: one deep reading, and a notebook for the year. Both are paid once, and nothing renews.

A deep reading

• If it can’t be written, it’s refunded in full, automatically. That covers readings pausing, an error, or the connection or the tab closing while it’s being written. Nothing half-written is shown or kept, and you don’t need to ask.
• Not used yet? Ask within 14 days of buying it, and it’s refunded in full.
• Once it’s written, it’s used. Drawing the cards starts it, and the page says so before you draw. If something went wrong with a written reading, write to us within 30 days with your receipt number. We’ll look at it, and refund it if it didn’t work as it should.

The notebook for the year

• Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days of buying it for a full refund, however much you’ve used it.
• After 14 days, the year isn’t refundable, except where the law gives you more.

How to ask

Write to lanterndeck@aiapps.sh with your receipt number (it starts with LD-) or the email address on your payment receipt. Payments on the website are taken by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, so a refund goes back through Dodo to the card or wallet you paid with. Your bank decides how soon it shows. When a purchase is refunded, it stops working.

Your rights

If you’re in the UK or the EU, you can cancel a purchase within 14 days. This policy gives you that for the year and for a deep reading you haven’t used. A deep reading that’s been written was delivered when you asked for it, so it can’t be cancelled once it’s written. Nothing here takes away other rights you have by law.

If you’re unhappy with a charge

Please write to us first: we can usually put it right faster than a bank can. If a payment is reversed through your bank, the purchase stops working.
